Know what is included.
We explain the proposed frame, glass and opening type using whole-window information. A glass-only U-value is not the same as the performance of the complete window.

FENNOR / WINDOWS & DOORS
Draughty frames, awkward openings or a room that never feels comfortable? Fennor helps you choose windows and doors around how you live, with the fitting and finishing work included in the plan.

FRAME / GLASS / INSTALLATION
More daylight, a quieter bedroom or a door that closes properly: Fennor uses those priorities to build an opening-by-opening brief. You see the proposed frames, glass, operation and making-good work before an order is agreed.

OPENING-BY-OPENING BRIEF
Select a room to explore the choices we work through with you. Your preferences inform the opening schedule, alongside the professional safety, ventilation and conservation requirements for the property.
Living space / YOUR BRIEF
Fennor turns your answers into proposed opening choices, with whole-window performance, installation and making good explained—not only the glass specification.
We explain the proposed frame, glass and opening type using whole-window information. A glass-only U-value is not the same as the performance of the complete window.
Your proposal separates the new units from removal, reveals, sills, decoration and disposal. We bring any planned external insulation into the design because it can change the window position and detail.
We explain the relevant scheme conditions and approval sequence before an order is agreed. Eligibility depends on the home and fabric as well as the work; the headline amount is not approval.
YOUR PROJECT WITH FENNOR
We explain the choices, the work involved and what happens next, so you can decide with a clearer picture.
A bedroom, living-room view and busy entrance have different needs. We help you weigh light, opening arrangements, security and upkeep, using whole-window or whole-door performance rather than the glass value alone.
We explain what happens to sills, plaster, decoration and external finishes. The measurements and installation details address insulation and airtightness while retaining suitable ventilation and escape provisions. You know what making good is included in the price.
SEAI’s individual scheme offers window support by dwelling type, up to €4,000 for a detached home, and €800 per eligible external door, up to two. We take you through the relevant insulation, property-age, performance and post-works BER conditions alongside the proposed work.

SUPPORT FOR THE WORK YOU HAVE IN MIND
These are the relevant funding options to discuss with Fennor alongside your project. We explain the full price, the support that may apply and the steps before you commit.
Reviewed · Guidance, not an eligibility decision.
Grant support
Up to €4,000
Support depends on your dwelling type, the existing windows and the home’s insulation performance—not just the specification of the new glass.
Grant support
Up to €1,600
€800 per eligible external replacement door, up to two doors, subject to the property and performance requirements.
USEFUL ANSWERS
Plain language. No pressure to have it all figured out.
Not necessarily under the current individual scheme. We work through the openings you want to change and explain the property-wide requirements. Support is normally paid once per property; scheme eligibility and the appointed contractor’s registration still apply.
We plan for both. Tighter windows reduce uncontrolled draughts, but suitable fresh-air provision remains essential. We explain any ventilation changes included with the new windows.
